Summers and ice candy goes together --- fresh fruits are abundant, its coolness drops irritability levels and the sweetness makes people happy. It is also a great bonding activity for the entire family. And eating ice candies during summer is a fond childhood memory for most Pinoys. This is why mama making ice candy during summer is a great treat.
Ingredients
1 cup fruit of your choice, sliced into small, ice-candy size
2 cups water
1 cup fresh milk
1 14 oz. can condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Combine water, fresh milk, condensed milk, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl or pitcher. Stir until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Add the fruit. (You can also use a blender to make the fruit have a finer texture before adding it in the mixture.) Stir.
Pour the mixture into ice candy bags using a funnel.
Let the air out and secure the bag by tying a knot on the open end.
Freeze.
